Campaigns explained

Inspiring the Future encourages industry assocaitions and passionate volunteers or teachers to get behind a number of sub-campaigns and themed weeks. All the resourses needed to conduct these events are hosted on this site. Please get in touch if you would like to collaborate to Inspire the Future.

Inspiring Apprentices

Inspiring Apprentices encourages schools and interested groups to invite current and former apprentices to talk with young people about the benefits of vocational career pathways, what an apprenticeship is and how you apply for one.

Inspiring Futures for Young Women

Focusing on engaging inspiring women as volunteers to talk with girls in schools about the ‘job they do’ and route they took. The purpose is to raise aspirations and break down job gender stereotypes which are evident from age 6. Our ambition is to see women from a wide range of occupations going into Australian schools as role models to inspire young women and broaden their future career options.

Primary Futures

Research is in increasingly proving the need to start raising career awareness in primary schools. Primary Futures is fun and impactful. In as little as one hour volunteers following the Primaries Futures format can challenge career and gender stereotypes, broaden career awareness and help students connect a good education to future success in any career of their choosing.

Designed and Made

Themed events encourage schools and colleges to invite volunteers that design and make things – from T-shirts to aeroplanes, furniture to glassware – to give students insights into a range of career options in this huge and fascinating arena in which Australia excels.

Inspiring Languages

To encourage language teachers to invite volunteers using languages in their job to talk with school and college pupils to bring classroom learning to life.

These sub-campaigns will be initiated and facilitated by both the ItF team and ItF regional delivery partners as opportunities and needs arise. Please contact the ItF team if you have an idea or a need for a specific campaign/event and if your organisation is interested in resourcing and facilitating one.
